Payments from home-based education and care services
Home-based education and care services place children in private homes during the day while the parent(s) is in employment.
When clients provide care through home-based education and care services in their own homes, payments received are treated as income.
Expenses are deducted from payments
If a client has expenses directly related to providing childcare these can be deducted from any payment received and are disregarded as income.
