Renewal codes and review years
Renewal codes and review years were used until 13 October 2014.
A renewal code was assigned at the time of grant for the following benefits:
- Sole Parent Support
- Supported Living Payment
- Orphans Benefit and Unsupported Childs Benefit
- Emergency Maintenance Allowance
The renewal code was used to determine the review period for an Annual Review. The review period was used to determine the client's income year, which was the period that annual income was assessed over. See:
