Below are the regional accommodation rates for students at 1 January 2012. The subsidies they represent are:

Other Student with no dependent children | 50% on accommodation costs in excess of $40 for average rental costs, up to a maximum of $40. |
A single student with one or more supported children | 75% on accommodation costs in excess of $40 for average rental costs, up to a maximum of $60. |
