Lost income

Before you grant a Seasonal Work Assistance payment you must also consider the following factors:

• the number of hours lost by the client for the period they have been unable to work because of the weather conditions
• whether the client's future work may be affected by the weather conditions
• the number and amount of Seasonal Work Assistance payments already received and
• whether granting an Emergency Benefit would be more appropriate given the period the client is unable to work
