Accident compensation payments

A client can be granted a specified benefit while waiting for an accident compensation claim to be approved.

If the claim is successful, their entitlement to benefit is reassessed taking into account the amount of weekly compensation paid. A debt is established for the net specified benefit amount.

Case managers make a refund request from the accident insurer using the "Claim refund from accident insurer form".

The Central Processing Unit is responsible for the processing of all accident compensation reimbursements.
