Delegation levels
These are the benefit administration and financial delegations for decisions relating to:
- non recoverable debt
- provisional debt write-off
- write-off of non-recoverable debt and
- write-off of provisionally written-off debt
where the debt is not required to be repaid under regulation 208 of the Social Security Regulations 2018.
Debt less than $2,500 | Service Delivery Service Managers or equivalent |
Debt more than $2,500 less than $10,000 | Regional Directors and Central Processing Unit Managers National Manager Debt |
Debt more than $10,000 less than $25,000 | General Manager Integrity and Debt Service Delivery General Managers Regional Commissioners for Social Development |
Debt more than $25,000 less than $50,000 | Service Delivery Group General Managers |
Debt more than $50,000 less than and $200,000 | Deputy Chief Executive Service Delivery jointly with the Chief Financial Officer (in that order). |
Debt over $200,000 | Chief Executive |
