Youth service providers considered officers of MSD

A youth service provider is considered to be an officer of the Ministry of Social Development.

This means that it can be considered that an error has been made when a debt has been caused wholly or partly because a youth service provider:

• gave the client the wrong information and/or
• didn't do something that should have been done or did something wrong
