Applications from clients living overseas
When a client living overseas applies for a benefit under a Reciprocal Agreement with another country they do not have to meet the 20 working day period for the application process.
Note clients applying for a benefit under a Reciprocal Agreement while living in New Zealand are subject to the 20 working day period.
Process
When processing applications from clients living overseas International Services staff should tick the Overseas Application box in the CMS Request screen.
