Body corporate fees
Body corporate is a term generally used when referring to cross-leased or shared properties where one or more properties are sited on the same land.
The body corporate comprises the owners of a unit-titled property under the Unit Title Act 1972.
This can include accommodation such as townhouse complexes, apartment blocks and flats. Each unit has a separate legal title and is individually owned.
These homeowners are usually required to pay a regular fee or levy to cover joint expenses for the whole property.
These body corporate fees are to be included in the assessment of Accommodation Supplement.
