Entry threshold

There is an amount of money that a client is expected to contribute towards their housing costs before they will receive an Accommodation Supplement. This amount is called the entry threshold.

Clients who are receiving a Special Transfer Allowance will have their accommodation costs worked out, by finding out the rent they have to pay and taking away the amount they get from the Special Transfer Allowance.
