Mortgage interest subsidies

There may be some clients who have their mortgage interest subsidised through employment (such as Armed Forces personnel).

For the purposes of Accommodation Supplement consider the client's accommodation costs:

• the weekly mortgage payment less the weekly mortgage subsidy received

Clients with mortgage interest subsidies are eligible for Accommodation Supplement if their costs are still high enough.
