Ambulance subscription fees

Instead of paying one-off ambulance fees, clients can pay a one year subscription to St Johns Ambulance. The subscription gives the client and their family's unlimited access to emergency services for one year.

If the client meets all qualifications, they may be able to receive an Advance Payment of Benefit for subscription fees.

As an Advance Payment of Benefit is for items of particular immediate need, you should consider the following:

• whether the client and/or their family is likely to require ambulance services
• how regular an ambulance would be required by the client and/or their family
• whether there is a history of expectation of the requirement to use an ambulance

As a guideline, an Advance Payment of Benefit for Ambulance Subscription fees should not be more than $200.
