Tenancy Tribunal fees

Tenancy Services charges a flat fee of $28 (including GST) for all applications. Where a tenant wishes to take action against their landlord, they will have to pay this fee before any proceedings can be taken.

It is expected that most clients will be able to fund this application fee. However, a client may be able to receive an Advance Payment of Benefit if they meet the qualifications.

Applications for Tenancy Tribunal fees must be supported by a Tenancy Tribunal application form that has been validated by Tenancy Services (either by a stamp or a confirmation slip or letter).

The tear off portion of the Tenancy Tribunal application form should be retained and attached to the Advance Payment of Benefit application form.

You should add the client's Tenancy Tribunal reference number in the invoice field.
