Commencement date for clients previously paid by Inland Revenue

Best Start tax credit can start from the date the main benefit is granted if the client was not getting their Best Start tax credit payments from Inland Revenue previously.

If the client is still having their Best Start tax credit paid by Inland Revenue but want to get it from the Ministry of Social Development instead, it will start from the beginning of the next full pay period after the benefit has been granted.
