Ministry of Education +10 funding
The Ministry of Education pay a number of different payments to Licensed ECE providers.
The funding model is made up of many parts and is explained fully in the ECE Funding Handbook.
This handbook is designed to be a "one-stop-shop" for all providers of payment information about early childhood funding including:
- 20 Hours Early Childhood Education (ECE)
- +10 funding
The +10 hours is one method of funding, this payment is made based on child places, not children.
We do not pay subsidy for the same hours that a child is being funded by 20 Hours ECE funding, but +10 funding does not have any impact on Childcare Subsidy payments.
