Funeral Grant : Contents
Introduction
The Funeral Grant is a non-taxable lump sum payment that provides assistance towards a deceased person's reasonable funeral expenses.
The Funeral Grant is intended to help with the actual and reasonable funeral expenses that cannot be met by other means (up to a maximum amount).
The deceased person did not need to be getting a benefit to be eligible for a Funeral Grant.
