Changes and reviews

A young parent client is obliged to advise the Ministry or their service provider of any changes in their circumstances that may affect their entitlement to the Guaranteed Childcare Assistance Payment.

The Guaranteed Childcare Assistance Payment can be reviewed at any time to ensure that the client still meets the qualifications and is receiving the correct rate of payment.

A change in a young parent's circumstances may also mean that the young parent qualifies for another benefit.
