Advance payment of benefit
A client who is financially eligible for Residential Care Subsidy may be able to get an Advance Payment of Benefit if they meet all of the qualifications.
Note before considering an Advance Payment of Benefit, check that the item that they are applying for is not paid by, or the responsibility of, the service provider.
Repayment
The Advance Payment of Benefit must not be recovered from the client's Personal Allowance unless the client gives their permission.
Do not start recovery of an Advance Payment of Benefit when the client is getting Residential Care Subsidy.
