Entering rest home

When notification is received that a client has entered residential care, stop all Extra help until it is determined whether or not the client is financially eligible for Residential Care Subsidy.

Stop Extra help from the:

• date the client entered the rest home (current processing) or
• first available processing date if the client has advised of a change within 14 days of the event or
• date the client entered the rest home if the advice is received more than 14 days after the event
