Client leaves social rehabilitation programme

Cancel Social Rehabilitation Assistance from the date the client leaves the programme.

Any redirection of benefit authorised by the client to the social rehabilitation provider ceases on the client's exit date unless the client has authorised that the re-direction is to continue.

Removing the payee link

If the client leaves the social rehabilitation programme part way through the week then you need to adjust the Social Rehabilitation Assistance payee amount to the correct rate for the part payment via the payee screen in SWIFTT.

The payee link can only be deleted from the beginning of a current pay period; therefore you will need to ensure that the payee link is removed at the next change in processing deadline so that the social rehabilitation provider is not overpaid.

Note clients leaving social rehabilitation programmes do not qualify for a re-establishment grant when leaving this type of programme, regardless of the period they were resident with the provider. Re-establishment grants are provided for patients who have been receiving medical treatment. Social Rehabilitation does not provide medical treatment.
