Income limit - New Zealand Superannuation and Veteran's Pension clients

When assessing Special Needs Grant eligibility for New Zealand Superannuation and Veteran's Pension clients, the appropriate income limit must be applied.

The rate of New Zealand Superannuation or Veterans Pension a client (including their partner) gets, must be included as income when assessing Special Needs Grant eligibility.

If a client and/or their partner gets other income, in addition to their New Zealand Superannuation or Veterans Pension, both sources of income must be included when assessing Special Needs Grant eligibility for these clients.
