Temporary Additional Support : Contents

Period less than 13 weeks

You can pay Temporary Additional Support for a period less than 13 weeks if you determine that the client's entitlement to Temporary Additional Support will end before the end of the 13 week standard period. The period that you pay Temporary Additional Support will depend on the client's circumstances and whether they still meet the qualifications.

If you pay Temporary Additional Support for a shorter fixed period, the end date should be the day the client is no longer entitled to Temporary Additional Support.

For example, if the client is leaving New Zealand permanently Temporary Additional Support should be cancelled from the day after departure.
