Deductions
In certain circumstances the Ministry of Social Development can be required to pay part of the client's benefit to another party.
The Ministry is legally required to make these deductions when served with a properly issued Deduction Notice or Attachment Order. The consent of the client is not required.
Certain forms of deductions take priority over others.
