Any other appropriate conditions
Depending on the client's reasons for not being able to earn a sufficient livelihood and be in hardship will determine the conditions that are applied to the Emergency Benefit.
Note any conditions of grant placed on the payment of an Emergency Benefit must be reasonable and appropriate for the individual client.
There may be a situation specific to a client that requires a condition that is not covered by other conditions of benefit. This condition may involve a one off activity, requirement or an ongoing obligation.
Note the client must be advised of any condition (both verbally and in writing) and CMS must be noted.
If the client fails to meet any condition of grant, the Emergency Benefit may be stopped.
Note where a client has advised a change of circumstances review their eligibility and if necessary the conditions of grant.
