Disputing more than one obligations failure
If a client or partner has failed more than one obligation at the same time, they can dispute any of the failed activities by providing a good and sufficient reason for each failure.
Example
A partner has failed their social obligations and two of their work obligations, and the failures have been initiated on the same day. The partner disputes some of these failures as they have good and sufficient reasons. The partner also recomplies to one. The partner is not sanctioned but the failure is counted because they recomplied with one of the failures.
Obligation | Recompliance | Action |
Social obligation - failed to enrol child in ECE | Partner must comply with all social obligations | Partner disputes failure - has good and sufficient reason |
Work obligations - failed to attend interview | Must attend another job interview - or similar activity | Partner disputes failure - has good and sufficient reason |
Work obligations - refused to take drug test | Must agree to being drug free | Partner has no good and sufficient reason for the failure - agrees to recomply |
Example
A partner has failed their obligations and the failures have been initiated on the same day. The partner recomplies for one failure but not for the other failure. The sanction remains imposed until the client recomplies.
Obligation | Recompliance | Action |
Work obligation - failed to attend a job interview | Partner must participate in another job interview | Partner has no good and sufficient reason for not attending the job interview - the sanction remains imposed until the partner recomplies with this activity |
Work obligations - failed to attend job seminar | Must attend another job seminar - or similar activity | Partner recomplies by attending another job seminar |
