Failure to comply following regular engagement and support
Clients will need to attend a final appointment if they are still not taking all reasonable steps to meet their social obligations after the 3 step process of regular engagement and support.
A social obligations failure will only be initiated when you consider that a client has, without a good and sufficient reason, failed to meet their social obligations by:
- not taking all reasonable steps to meet their social obligations following the three stage process of regular engagement and support and
- does not attend the final appointment, or attends and is still not meeting their social obligations, following the three stage process engagement and support
Before you initiate an obligations failure for social obligations you must get your manager client service delivery's approval. A social obligation failure should only be used when all other efforts to encourage engagement and support the client have been exhausted.
