In approved training (no children or child 14+)
If a partner is in approved training they must continue to meet their work obligations, including being available for full-time employment unless they are granted an exemption for approved full-time training.
They are still expected to be available for work or any other activity up to a total of 30 hours each week.
The partner must understand that they have to accept suitable paid work if it becomes available.
