Failure to comply following regular engagement and support
Clients will need to attend a final appointment if they are still not taking all reasonable steps to meet their social obligations after the 3 step process of regular engagement and support.
A social obligations failure will only be initiated when you consider that a client has, without a good and sufficient reason, failed to meet their social obligations by:
- not taking all reasonable steps to meet their social obligations following the 3 step process of regular engagement and support and
- does not attend the final appointment, or attends and is still not meeting their social obligations, following the 3 stage process engagement and support
Before you initiate an obligations failure for social obligations you must get your manager client service delivery approval.
A social obligation failure should only be used when all other efforts to encourage engagement and support the client have been exhausted.
