Effect of income on Extra help

When income is added or changed you will also need to review any Extra help the client may be receiving.

Some Extra help is not income tested such as Child Disability Allowance and Winter Energy Payment. It is the client's obligation to advise MSD of any changes in their circumstances.

Income is charged against Special Benefit, Temporary Additional Support and Childcare Subsidy or OSCAR on a weekly basis.
