Release on bail

When a client is released on bail, Jobseeker Support can be paid from the date of release providing the client:

• is still able to meet their work obligations
• has been in custody for less than 31 days and
• reapplies for a benefit immediately after their release

If the client has been in custody for more than 31 days an initial stand-down will be imposed.
