Clients undertaking voluntary work

Sole parents can undertake voluntary work provided they continue to meet their work or work preparation obligations.

Sole parents with work preparation or work obligations may have to give up some or all of their voluntary activities if a work preparation activity is required or if a suitable job becomes available.
