Process for decisions
Once you have received all the information you require from your client you need to make an assessment and draft your decision. Your case should then be referred to your Regional Disability Advisor or Regional Health Advisor for their comment.
To retain national consistency these should then be referred to the Principal Disability Adviser for their recommendation. The Principal Disability Adviser will send a response to the Regional Disability Advisor or Regional Health Advisor.
When you have received comment from your Regional Disability Advisor or Regional Health Advisor you should finalise your decision and record the information on CMS.
