Evidence of absence

If the client cannot provide evidence of their arrivals and/or departures, MSD can accept the client's statement where they say they have not been absent from New Zealand since their first date of arrival unless:

• the statement is doubted
• the arrival date affects the date of commencement or
• the referees declaration shows an undeclared absence which would affect the date of commencement
