The amount of a school and year start up payment is:

(a)

In the year commencing 1 January 2014:

$250 for a child aged under 5 years:

$300 for a child aged not less than 5 years and under 10 years:

$350 for a child aged not less than 10 years and under 14 years:

$400 for a child aged 14 or more years:

(b)

In the year commencing 1 January 2015 and each subsequent year:

$400 for a child aged under 5 years:

$450 for a child aged not less than 5 years and under 10 years:

$500 for a child aged not less than 10 years and under 14 years:

$550 for a child aged 14 or more years.
