Assessable income
Assessable income is the weekly net income used to determine whether the client qualifies for social housing.
MSD uses the same types of assessable income for determining whether a client qualifies for social housing or Income Related Rent.
From 1 July 2023, most types of Child Support are included as assessable income. For more information see: Child Support is assessable income from 1 July 2023
