New Zealand Refugee Quota Programme

Some refugees come to New Zealand under the New Zealand Quota Refugee Programme. They are generally known as quota refugees.

Refugees, including quota refugees, do not have to meet the 2 years continuous residence criteria to qualify for social housing on residency grounds.
