Formula for calculating rate of Income Related Rent

The rate of Income Related Rent is calculated using both:

• the applicable rate of Jobseeker Support and
• the household income

The rate of Income Related Rent needs to be calculated using both methods and then the higher rate selected.

Note the calculated rate of Income Related Rent is rounded down to the nearest dollar.
