Insufficient information to calculate a correct rate
Generally, if the information received from the client is insufficient to complete the review you will need to attempt to contact the client to provide the information required. The client should be given 10 working days to provide the additional information you require (from the date of the first request).
If a client is also a beneficiary and provides insufficient information you can consider whether the information MSD hold is sufficient to process the review without getting the client to provide additional information.
You may consider that information is not sufficient if you decide that:
- a client has not declared their correct or relevant income details or
- there is insufficient information on which to calculate a correct rate of Income Related Rent
