Assistance during an initial stand-down and/or benefit application process
Clients who have an initial stand-down cannot get an Emergency Benefit, Temporary Additional Support or Accommodation Supplement during the stand-down.
Exception
If a client was receiving Accommodation Supplement paid as a non-beneficiary they can continue to receive this during the initial stand-down.
Special Needs Grants
If a client is suffering hardship they may be able to receive a Special Needs Grant.
