Unsupported Childs Benefit was paid

If the young person has been living with a caregiver who was receiving Unsupported Childs Benefit for the young person, the young person can only receive Jobseeker Support Student Hardship if:

• the young person has stopped living with the caregiver and
• there has been a relationship breakdown between the young person and caregiver

This is because caregivers who receive Unsupported Childs Benefit for a dependent person are considered parents.
