Temporary performance requirement exemption for study between 2009 - 2010

If a student had failed the Student Loan performance requirement but could have demonstrated they had made a very significant improvement in their study ending in 2010 as compared to study undertaken in 2009, (i.e. by passing more than 70% of their EFTS) they may have been able to retain Student Loan eligibility.

This was a transition measure and only available to students who had studied full-time in 2009 and 2010 and who were having their performance assessed in 2011.

This exemption does not apply to study starting on or after 1 January 2012.
