Accident compensation

When a client is getting accident compensation payments from overseas, the payments are treated in the same way as New Zealand earnings related compensation payments.

You need to convert the rate of the overseas compensation to New Zealand dollars using the current exchange rate. This can be found using the SELXT screen in SWIFTT.

Note to calculate the NZ dollar amount you will need to multiply the overseas currency by the exchange rate. For more information see: Exchange rates
