Moving to a General Portability country

If a client has moved to a country that is covered by the General Portability provisions Special Portability will be cancelled from the payday after their departure from the Pacific country.

Clients are not entitled to New Zealand Superannuation or Veteran's Pension under the General Portability rules if they apply from overseas in these circumstances.
