Review date
International Services will review a New Zealand benefit or pension from the date a client is granted an Australian benefit or pension, or when the rate of an Australian benefit or pension is increased or decreased.
However, you can use the decision guidelines to review the New Zealand benefit or pension from the first available date.
If you have a case where you feel an overpayment should be established you should contact International Services to discuss it.
Where an Australian benefit or pension is altered, the New Zealand benefit or pension should be reviewed from the date of the change.
