Clients going overseas
When a client receiving a Canadian pension leaves New Zealand for a temporary absence the Canadian pension can continue to be paid.
The normal absence provisions apply to any New Zealand benefit or pension they are receiving.
If a client is going to Canada and intends to stay there for more than 26 weeks they may be able to receive payment of their New Zealand benefit or pension in Canada.
