Death in Malta

The normal procedures for cancellation of New Zealand Superannuation and Veteran's Pension apply on the death of a client in Malta.

Generally, the Maltese authorities will advise International Services of the death of a client in Malta and International Services will complete the cancellation of the New Zealand Superannuation or Veteran's Pension.

Note that Funeral Grants are not payable for clients who were living in Malta at the time of their death.

Mandatory Reviews

There are no Mandatory Reviews for New Zealand Superannuation or Veteran's Pension in Malta when the client has died.
