Child temporarily with another person

If a child is living temporarily with another person but is still dependent on their parents, they are still considered to be part of the parents' family unit and can access services under their parents' Community Services Card. The parent is responsible for providing a copy of the card information to the temporary carer.

If the parents do not qualify for a Community Services Card, the child cannot access services even if the temporary carer has a Community Services Card.
