These income limits do not apply for Special Needs Grants for Transition from Care to Independence.

Income limits for young people transitioning from care to independence
Below are the income limits for Special Needs Grants for Transition from Care to Independence at 26 August 2024 (see Note 1 below).

Note 1
The income limits did not change from 1 April 2024 to 26 August 2024. The change at 26 August 2024 was the removal of income limits for emergency housing as this assistance is now part of the Emergency Housing Grants Programme rather than the Special Needs Grants Programme.
