Introduction
Seasonal Work Assistance provides a non-taxable payment to help a client who is a seasonal worker.
It encourages clients to take up jobs in seasonal work, without worrying about any loss of income, by providing financial assistance when they are unable to work (and lose income), due to poor weather conditions.
The amount paid depends on how many hours the client loses due to poor weather and the actual net income lost for the week.
