Warrant to Arrest : Contents
Restarting the benefit
When a client's or partner's benefit has been suspended or reduced by 50%, the benefit can only be re-started if you are satisfied that:
- the client is not the person to whom the warrant applies
- the client has taken reasonable steps to resolve the warrant but have been unable to do so because of reasons outside of their control
- the warrant has been resolved
Note the warrant to arrest will show in SWIFTT in the SSTAI screen as "Warrant To Arrest".
Date to re-start the benefit
Generally the benefit can't be backdated to the date it was suspended or reduced, unless the client or partner has taken reasonable steps to resolve the warrant.
